Judaism is based on many gardening practices. We are a Jewish vegetable & fruit urban farmette with chickens. This is a fun way to become aware of and involved with the progressive jewish community in chicago. Open to everyone: singles, couples, families. Come for a sense of community, leave with veggies, fruits, maybe even some eggs. You can also learn about the sustainability & food justice communities. Hope to see you at one of our events soon!

We started this group with the intention of finding other young (20s and 30s) Jewish families and singles to both celebrate and worship with. A few ideas are Saturday morning family-oriented services/play dates/brunch, parents-nights-out, Torah study/book club and holiday-specific events.
